Berwyn United Methodist Nursery School is a warm and welcoming experience for children 2 1/2 through 6 years of age that is in its 15th year! The school year begins the second week of September and finishes just before Memorial Day. The hours of the school are from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon with an extended day available until 3:00 p.m. BUMNS provides an early childhood learning experience in a nurturing environment. Our aim is for children to feel a sense of self-esteem, enthusiasm for learning and positive feelings towards classmates and teachers. Our school is a safe, positive place where learning is fun. BUMNS favors the "whole child approach". We address the physical, social, emotional and cognitive needs of young children through play and other learning experiences. The curriculum is thematically oriented with projects encompassing each special theme.
